The world’s tallest branded clocktower will be in Dubai Marina
London Gate, a forward-thinking developer, recently announced plans for future projects of comparable scale following the successful launch of their latest architectural masterpiece in Dubai. The developer proudly introduced the Franck Muller Aeternitas tower, a groundbreaking collaboration with the renowned Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller. Positioned in the vibrant Dubai Marina, this tower is set to become the world's tallest residential clock tower, a symbol of luxury and innovation.
The unveiling event at Ritz Carlton DIFC attracted over 1,500 attendees, showcasing the significant interest in this landmark project. Towering at 450 meters, the Franck Muller Aeternitas will be among Dubai's tallest buildings, just shy of the record held by New York's Central Park Tower.
This exclusive tower will feature 649 residences, ranging from one to three-bedroom apartments and luxurious duplexes named Sky Mansions and Sky Villas, spread across 106 floors. Priced at Dh1,800 per square foot, these homes represent a premium real estate opportunity, with one-bedroom units starting at Dh1.6 million.
A key highlight of this tower is its 40 by 30 meters clock, designed to be visible from up to six kilometers away. This clock, crafted by the same German company responsible for Makkah's tower clock, will showcase the iconic Franck Muller Long Island watch dial, bringing a unique aesthetic to the Dubai skyline.
Residents will enjoy an array of luxury amenities, including a Zen garden, private cinema, cigar lounge, library, spa, yoga room, and round-the-clock concierge services. In a nod to luxury and exclusivity, each apartment purchase includes a limited-edition Franck Muller watch, although not the esteemed Franck Muller Aeternitas model valued at $2.5 million.
The interior of the tower promises to reflect the high standards and detailed craftsmanship synonymous with the Franck Muller brand. This venture marks the first of its kind for Franck Muller in the branded residence sector, ensuring a blend of luxury and quality.
In the broader context, Dubai continues to be a hotspot for luxury real estate. London Gate, initially known for build-to-rent projects, has recently shifted its focus to luxury developments. This shift is evident in their recent successful launches, including projects in Jumeirah Village Triangle and Al Furjan. The Franck Muller Aeternitas tower, previously known as the Marina 106 project, is expected to reach completion in Q2 2027.
