Announced during the Dubai Boat Show, Sudhin Siva, VP of Commercial Operations at Shamal Holding, shared insights into the project. The Dubai Harbour Residences will feature a boutique, low-rise architecture, housing over 350 luxury apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms, catering to a diverse range of lifestyle preferences.
Siva highlighted the project's focus on a "sea state of mind," offering residents and visitors a marina-centric lifestyle that's both refreshing and unique. This development is not just about luxury living but also about creating a sense of community around the maritime lifestyle that defines Dubai Harbour.
With the project still in the masterplan phase, there's a flexible approach to meeting the evolving needs of Dubai's residents and visitors. The next five to six years will see the Harbour area transform into an even more vibrant destination, with a range of hotels, restaurants, retail outlets, and over 700 marina berths due to high demand.
Additionally, the development will include the Dubai Harbour Yacht Club and the Pier Club, enhancing its appeal as a comprehensive seafront destination.
To facilitate easy access to this exclusive locale, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with Shamal Holding, plans to construct a new bridge. This infrastructure project will include a two-lane bridge in each direction, ensuring smooth traffic flow from Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour and accommodating up to 6,000 vehicles per hour.
Abdulla Binhabtoor of Shamal Holding emphasized the bridge's role in integrating maritime destinations into Dubai's lifestyle fabric, catering to the evolving preferences of residents seeking connection and rejuvenation by the sea.
