Recent rankings have placed the UAE among the most economical tax-free nations for relocation. The appeal of cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi is undeniable, with their iconic architecture, unique experiences, tax-free earnings, and a thriving community of content expatriates.
In the past year, the UAE has garnered accolades, being named a prime location for expatriates to live and work, and featuring among the world's finest cities offering a high-quality lifestyle.
A study by expat insurance provider William Russell highlighted the world's top tax-free destinations, ranking the UAE fourth. This ranking is based on an average monthly expense of around Dhs3,590 against a typical monthly net salary of approximately Dhs13,015 in the UAE. The criteria for this ranking included aspects like flight costs, accommodation rent, and utility bills.
In this ranking, the UAE surpassed other nations such as Brunei, the Maldives, Qatar, the Bahamas, Monaco, and the Cayman Islands. The top five countries in this list are Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Brunei, with Oman leading as the most affordable tax-free country
