The Live, Work, Play concept is not new, developers around the world are creating communities that combine workspaces with homes, business centres, cafes and retail, however here in Dubai until now it has not been possible due to the company set up and licencing rules, but things are now changing:-
UNA in Town Square was the first co-living and co-working concept where residents have use of a 2,000 sq. m lobby lounge or social hub featuring workstations, a music room, games corner, communal smart TV, reading space, and creative zones in addition to entertainment & recreation areas, business centre, swimming pool, gymnasium, retail stores, restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, laundry & cleaning services, landscaped areas, and outdoor recreational facilities. Studios start at AED 444k and one beds at AED 530k with completion due in December 2020 See more here
The Collective and the Collective 2.0 were the next Work, Live, Play projects to be launched and these are at the Dubai Hills Estate. The building's ground floor serves as a lounge, with an informal concierge service and includes workspaces, relaxation areas and an entertainment zone in addition to amenities including open courtyards, barbeque areas, two swimming pools, a mini theatre and library. Located alongside the Rove Hotel and Business Park, Collective 2.0 residents will also have access to the Dubai Hills Boulevard, featuring retail outlets; the Dubai Hills Park, and the Dubai Hills Mall, with over 650 retail and F&B outlets. The one beds are all sold but we still have some two beds starting at AED 1m with completion due in August 2021 see the brochure here
