A Dubai Monopoly board is set to be released in November

Most of us can relate to the rush to purchase all four train stations, the perils of landing in jail on a winning streak, or the excitement of having enough money to purchase a house in the prestigious Mayfair district during a game of Monopoly. And now the world’s most popular board game is getting a Dubai makeover.

Monopoly: Dubai Edition will be available from November 5 at leading retailers across the region, making it’s timely arrival just in time for Christmas.

Although we don’t yet know which Dubai neighbourhoods, hotels and entertainment hotspots will be found on the board, it’s likely that Atlantis The Palm will be one of them. The iconic hotel was the chosen location for the announcement on October 7, which was attended by a very prestigious guest – none other than Mr Monopoly himself!

In Dubai for a few days, Mr Monopoly will be making his way around town, dropping hints at which locations will be found on the board before the big reveal on November 4.
