Pay for your property using Digital Currency

Emaar now accept Bitcoin and Ethereum virtual currencies through one of the biggest brokers of digital currencies in the world.

If Emaar has started this, then others will follow. 

Emaar won't be getting involved with the currency transaction as that will all be managed by the digital currency broker who is based in Switzerland, but I am assuming the payments will be made by them on behalf of their client in much the same way as payments are made via foreign exchange companies on behalf of their overseas clients.

Who is buying? 

Of the total Dh62 billion investments made during January 2018 to November 2018 period, Emiratis were the top investors among GCC nationals in Dubai's real estate market, investing over Dh11.5 billion.

They were followed by Indians with Dh10.8 billion, followed by the British with Dh4.3 billion, Pakistanis with Dh2.8 billion and Jordanians with Dh1.5 billion.
